I need help! I bought the first gen CC when first released. I installed it OK, but had a problem with one pin getting messed up and had a problem getting the ECU connector to seat. Eventually I got it, but the connector was slightly damaged.

Now, I had to send my ECU for a reflash after the dealer installed the 2.0 update without telling me. When I tried to reconnect the smaller (cruise control added) connector, I could not get it on. I tried to remove and reseat some of the wire pins that looked mis aligned, and the white inside part of the connect came apart and ALL the wire on one side of the connector came loose.

I know where the CC related wires go since they are illustrated in the instructions, but I can't find a diagram for the other wires on the web (Evilution's site, SCOA, goggle search) I don't want to try to install some pirated WISnet. Is there anywhere I can get the positions for all the wires? Thanks in advance.

It looks like your luck has turned. :) DoWork has promised to post it tonight. Keep following this thread on SCOA (and good luck!)

I have a mostly complete list. Many of the "unknowns" below are probably empty but not necessarily.  You'll see that I have 67 as an unknown but I think its a violet/white.  The problem you might run into is that there are duplicates of the same color!  So how do you know which brown/white, for example, came out of which hole?  Here it is though:

53 [empty]
54 Black/Green
55 Brown/White
56 Brown/Yellow
57 Blue/Red
58 Brown
59 Brown
60 Blue/Brown
61 [empty]
62 Brown/Pink
63 Brown/White
64 Violet
65 Black/Yellow
66 Red/Grey
67 Violet/Grey
68 Pink
69 [empty]
70 [empty]
71 Green
72 Violet/White
73 Red/Grey
74 Violet/Green
75 Violet/Yellow
76 [empty]
77 [empty]
78 Green/White
79 [empty]
80 Red

I can go out to my car and double check and get the unknowns figured out.  I'll do that now. (done)

ps. I can't say for 100% certain, but I doubt it matters if you mix the two large brown wires up (58/59).

Ok, I've gone out and completed/confirmed the list - at least as it pertains to my car.  I suppose it is possible some cars may have different (more or less) wires depending on the options they have?  Or if its a coupe vs cabrio?  We know for certain all smarts have the same 9 wires as they pertain to the cruise control, but the rest of them aren't necessarily so.

Regarding duplicates:  In my car, there are two browns, two brown/whites, and two red/greys.  The browns are power grounds and the brown/whites are sensor grounds so in either case it probably doesn't matter if you mix them up and that's likely why they used duplicates.  Total guess here, but the red/greys are probably power lines (could confirm with a meter) and likely the same voltage hence the same color.  So again, it probably doesn't matter if you switch them.  That's only to provide some comfort/hope in case you're forced to guess.  I really don't know for certain.  It just seems logical to me that if they specify, "red/grey wire in position 73" that there would only be one red/grey wire if it really mattered.

Best of luck and I hope this helps.

Thanks. Everyhting worked! I had an extra violet (no stripe) wire, but it found a home in #64 and seems to like it there.
I only needed 53 - 66 since the other side was intact and you listed 64 as unknown. Great response. Thanks again.
